Binnen SKC hebben we helaas ook te maken met grensoverschrijdend gedrag. Dit kan in verschillende vormen voorkomen. Je kan te maken hebben met bijvoorbeeld pesten, geweld, seksuele intimidatie en/of seksueel misbruik. Wanneer je hier mee te maken hebt, zijn er binnen en buiten SKC mensen die jou hierin kunnen begeleiden. 

Binnen SKC heb je het Bestuur en de vertrouwenscontactpersonen waar je altijd op kunt afstappen en die altijd klaar voor je staan om met je te praten. Voor het Bestuur zijn er protocollen opgesteld waar ze zich aan moeten houden, wanneer ze een vermoeden hebben van grensoverschrijdend gedrag, een melding via de vertrouwenscontactpersoon hebben doorgekregen of als er een melding bij ze wordt gedaan. Deze protocollen zijn te vinden onder het kopje informatie, documenten en dan belangrijke documenten. 

Je kan via verschillende manieren contact opnemen met het Bestuur. Je kan natuurlijk altijd op ze afstappen als je ze ziet, een appje sturen, bellen of mailen. Via de mail kun je ze bereiken op:

Vertrouwenscontactpersonen binnen SKC

Je kan ook altijd naar een vertrouwenscontactpersoon stappen. Binnen SKC zijn er drie personen die de belangrijke taak op zich willen nemen als centraal aanspreekpunt om ervoor te zorgen dat de wijze waarop we met elkaar omgaan leuk en veilig blijft. Wanneer je te maken krijgt of vragen hebt met of over grensoverschrijdend gedrag kun je altijd terecht bij de vertrouwenscontactpersonen. Zij zullen jullie een luisterend oor bieden, raad geven en jullie doorverwijzen naar geschikte hulp indien nodig. Ze zullen niet inhoudelijk jullie klachten behandelen, maar zullen wel meedenken aan een oplossing. Aarzel niet om contact met ze op te nemen als je ze denkt nodig te hebben, ze bieden je graag de hulp aan die je nodig hebt. Belangrijk om te weten is dat de gesprekken vertrouwelijk zijn en er geen informatie gedeeld zal worden zonder jouw toestemming of zonder dat jij hiervan op de hoogte bent gesteld.

Jolien Roosjen
Mijn naam is Jolien Roosjen. Dit jaar vervul ik de rol van vertrouwenscontactpersoon bij SKC. Je bent altijd welkom om mij aan te spreken voor een gesprekje. Alleen misschien is het wel fijn om een beetje te weten met wie je in gesprek gaat.  Op het moment speel ik voor het vijfde jaar bij SKC. Al die tijd heb ik genoten van het vele volleybal en gezelligheid die onze vereniging te bieden heeft. Dit jaar mag ik hiervan genieten in dames 6. Buiten SKC ben ik docent economie op een middelbare school. Ook doe ik nog een educatieve master op het gebied van economie. Daarnaast hou ik onwijs erg van een dansje en een drankje in de stad en lees ik graag boeken.  Graag zie ik je bij SKC en schroom vooral niet om mij aan te spreken voor de gezelligheid of voor een VCP gesprekje. Fiona Brosig
Ik heet Fiona Brosig en ben dit jaar vertrouwenscontactpersoon bij SKC. Dus, als je ooit iets wilt bespreken of advies nodig hebt, dan kan je me altijd graag contacteren. Maar wie ben ik? Ik ben Fiona, 25, en studeer psychologie. Meer dan 5 jaar geleden ben ik van Duitsland naar Nederland verhuisd om hier te gaan studeren. Sindsdien ben ik ook lid bij SKC. In de afgelopen 5 jaar kon ik van veel volleyball en gezelligheid genieten. Daarnaast geniet ik van mijn master (klinisch en onderzoeken psychologie), die ik bijna heb afgerond, en werk ik als onderzoeksassistent. Ook loop ik graag hard, ben vrijwilliger bij NedMI, kook, lees. Ik reis ook graag, en ga graag uit voor een drankje met vrienden.  Als je mij bij SKC ziet, kom dan vooral even langs. Dit mag of voor een VCP gesprek of gewoon voor de gezelligheid.
Vincent Flierman
Lieve SKC'er,  Als vertrouwenscontactpersoon stel ik me samen met Jolien en Fiona graag aan je voor. Mijn naam is Vincent Flierman en ik mag voor het vijfde jaar deel uitmaken van deze mooie vereniging. Ik ben 25 jaar en afgelopen zomer heb ik mijn master Applied Cognitive Psychology afgerond. Ik ben dus officieel het burgerleven ingeknald. Ik heb altijd ontzettend veel plezier gehad binnen skc. Ik gun iedereen binnen de vereniging hetzelfde en vind het daarom cruciaal dat iedereen zich veilig en gewaardeerd voelt binnen SKC. Om dit te waarborgen sta ik altijd klaar om met je in gesprek te gaan als je ergens tegenaan loopt.  In dit gesprek zullen we het hebben over hetgeen je tegenaan loopt en denk ik graag met je mee over welke vervolgstappen je beste kan nemen. Of het nu gaat om onzekerheden die je hebt of conflicten met andere leden, we staan als VCP'ers altijd voor je klaar! Externe vertrouwenspersonen

Naast dat we vertrouwenscontactpersonen hebben binnen SKC, zijn er ook externe vertrouwenspersonen waar je naartoe kunt, wanneer je te maken hebt met ongewenst gedrag. Denk hierbij bijvoorbeeld aan intimidatie, geweld, agressie of discriminatie. Deze vertrouwenspersonen zijn aangesteld door de Universiteit Leiden. De vertrouwenspersonen van de Universiteit Leiden zijn er ook voor het USC. Zij zijn onafhankelijk en zijn geen medewerkers van de Universiteit Leiden. Alles wat met hen besproken wordt, is vertrouwelijk. Zowel studenten, sporters, trainers, als alle andere betrokken, kunnen terecht bij deze vertrouwenspersonen.

Wat kunnen zij voor je betekenen?

• Ze vangen je op, wanneer dit nodig is, kunnen je advies geven en bieden jou ondersteuning.
• Ze geven je informatie over welke mogelijkheden er allemaal zijn om het probleem op te lossen en hoe je een klacht kan indienen.
• Ze begeleiden je in het proces wanneer je de zaak wilt laten bemiddelen of een klacht wilt indienen. 
• Ze zorgen ervoor, indien nodig, dat je passende nazorg krijgt. 

 

Klachtencommissie

Bij 'de klachtencommissie ongewenst gedrag' van de universiteit kun je een formele klacht indienen. Als gevolg hiervan kunnen er disciplinaire maatregelen genomen worden. De vertrouwenspersoon begeleid je bij het hele proces en gaat vertrouwelijk met je klacht om. Hoe het hele proces in elkaar zit, kun je hier vinden.

 

Gedragsregels

Daarbij hebben we sinds de WALV 2022 gedragsregels voor SKC waar iedereen die betrokken is bij SKC zich aan moet houden. Binnen deze gedragsregels zijn er verschillende categorieën, zoals trainer, coach, commissielid etc. Lees de gedragsregels vooral goed door, om te weten wat er binnen SKC van je verwacht wordt. Social security

Within SKC, we unfortunately also have to deal with transgressive behavior. This can come in different forms. You may encounter, for example, bullying, violence, sexual harassment and/or sexual abuse. If this happens to you, there are people within and outside of SKC who can guide you through this. 

Within SKC you have the Board and the confidential contact persons (vcp) who you can always approach and who are always ready to talk to you. The Board has drawn up protocols which they must adhere to if they suspect transgressive behavior, if they have received a report through the confidential contact person, or if a report is made to them. These protocols can be found under the heading 'informatie', 'documenten' and then important documents (English).

Confidential advisors at SKC

Within SKC there are three people who want to take on the important task of being the central point of contact to ensure that the way we deal with each other remains fun and safe. If you are confronted with or have questions about transgressive behavior, you can always contact the confidants. They will listen to you, advise you and refer you to the appropriate help. They will not deal with your complaints in detail, but they will help you find a solution. Do not hesitate to contact them if you think you might need them, they will be happy to offer you the help you need. Important to know is that the conversations are confidential and no information will be shared without your permission or without you being informed.

Dear members, My name is Jolien Roosjen. This year I fulfill the role of confidential contact person at SKC. You are always welcome to contact me for a chat. But maybe it's nice to know a little bit who you're talking to. At the moment I play for the fifth year at SKC. All that time I have enjoyed the many volleyball and fun activities that our association has to offer. This year I can enjoy all this in ladies 6. Outside of SKC I am an economics teacher at a secondary school. I am also doing an educational master's degree in economics. Hey all! My name is Fiona Brosig and this year I am one of the confidential contact person at SKC. So if there is ever anything that you want to discuss or need help with, always feel free to contact me. But who am I? I am Fiona, 25 years old, and studying psychology. Five years ago I moved from Germany to the Netherlands to study. Ever since `I have also been a member of SKC, during which I have been enjoying a lot of volleyball and “gezelligheid”. Next to SKC I am rounding off my master (clinical and research psychology) and working as a research assistant. Dear SKC'er, As a confidential contact person (VCP), I would like to introduce myself, together with Jolien and Fiona. My name is Vincent Flierman and I'm proud to be part of this beautiful association for the fifth year now. I am 25 years old and last summer I completed my master's degree in Applied Cognitive Psychology. So I'm officially popped into civilian life. I've always had a lot of fun within skc. I wish everyone within the association the same and therefore think it is crucial that everyone feels safe and valued within SKC. To ensure this, I am always ready to talk to you if you run into something. External confidential advisors

In addition to the fact that we have confidential contact persons within SKC, there are also external confidential persons you can go to if you are dealing with undesirable behaviour. Examples include intimidation, violence, aggression or discrimination. These confidential advisors have been appointed by Leiden University. The confidential advisors of Leiden University are also there for the USC. They are independent and are not employees of Leiden University. Everything discussed with them is confidential. Students, athletes, trainers, as well as everyone else involved, can contact these confidential advisers.

What can they do for you?

• They will take you in, when necessary, and can give you advice and/or offer you support.
• They give you information about the options available to solve the problem and how you can file a complaint.
• They guide you through the process when you want to mediate or file a complaint. 
• If necessary, they will ensure that you receive appropriate aftercare. 

 

Complaints committee

You can submit a formal complaint to the complaints committee for undesirable behaviour of the university. As a result, disciplinary action may be taken. The confidential advisors will guide you through the entire process and will treat your complaint confidentially. You can find out how the whole process works here.

Since the WALV 2022, we have SKC rules of conduct that everyone involved in SKC must adhere to.
